She is from NY. Married a Brazilian guy and now live in Brazil. She sang "Someone Like You" by Adele and all the 4 chairs turned. She choosed Daniel as a coach. In tha battle she sang in portuguese against Dani Moraes, who did better with the song, but Alma has a such amazing voice that she won tha battle. On live shows she did well,singing only in portuguese and was only eliminated at the decision of the semi-finals.

She was born in New York and raised in San Diego, USA. Her history with music began in Atlanta in the south of that country. There she sang at weddings and had repertoire of african-Cuban music. Passionate about capoeira, and decided to learn Portuguese in 2008, spent six months in Brazil. Returned earlier this year to record an album and was once. Married up with a Brazilian man.
